In 2014, I released my first full-length album. As an album release show, I organized an all-day music event to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository, at which I played with 16 bands over the course of 13 hours. It was called, wincingly, Day Of The Dowd. We raised over $10,000 for the charity. It almost killed me.
Exactly 5 years later to the day, and against the advice of medical professionals everywhere, DAY OF THE DOWD 2 will take place at the mighty FitzGerald's Nightclub in scenic Berwyn, IL on SATURDAY, NOV. 9th from noon-midnight, with a few key differences:
- No new album
- All different bands from last time
- A new and wonderful beneficiary, the
UI Health Pilsen Food Pantry
- Only 12 bands/hours this time (because I'm old)

And speaking of, here are the bands involved and the SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY!
Every single musician is donating their time and talents,
and this day would not be possible without them:
